About Us

Long Story Short...

Jonathan & I were each previously married. We have such strong commitment to marriage that we each found ourselves trying to forgive and work through adultery.  However, our previous spouses insisted on divorce as they believed they had found someone better. We looked to God for direction, and He crossed our paths and led us into each other's arms...

We believe a strong marriage is based on

A Relationship …

  • where the foundation is built on Biblical principles
  • where both parties seek the benefit of the other
  • where both parties seek to understand the other
  • where both parties firmly commit to a future  together
  • where both parties seek to communicate love using the other’s love language
  • where empathy is communicated by each asking the other about thoughts, feelings, plans, desires, goals, and interests
  • where each person accepts the other person without condition and when the other acts in a selfish or self-seeking way – confronts in love
  • where doing things for the other takes priority over doing for oneself
  • where both parties try to understand what the other is feeling
  • where each party is responsible for letting the other know if they feel they have been treated wrongly
  • where forgiveness is sought and freely given
  • where sexual intimacy is desired and fully enjoyed by both – characterized by passion for intimacy and not based on biological need
  • where warm physical interaction is a benefit and not a burden
  • where common interests are sought by both parties
  • where pain is overcome by love
  • where each party raises issues and seeks to resolve them in a loving way
  • where honesty is more important than being right
  • where each party focuses on the positives in life and seeks a positive attitude
  • where each party takes responsibility for himself/herself
  • where each party expects to receive the best intentions from the other and when something does not seem loving brings it to the other’s attention where both trust each other and seek to honor the trust of the other
  • where it is exclusive – each partner has a responsibility to confront the other if the other attempts to include someone or something that challenges the intimacy of their relationship
  • where it is characterized by stating or demonstrating love for each other on a daily basis
  • where it is characterized as a best friendship
  • where it is characterized by Biblical love
